What Does Dmnd Mean?

Disciplined Mindset Nurtured Daily. Diamonds are rare, multi-faceted, and formed under intense pressure. Baseball and softball are games of failure, so understanding that failure is part of success is a monumental discovery for many youth athletes. No matter our athletes' age or skill level, we teach fundamentals first, mental strength that leads to better humans and a strong, competitive mind. Like a diamond, each athlete is different and has different clarity and aspects that make them unique. We strive to help each athlete find their own process and trust it. Focusing too much on results leads to constant disappointment, so that is why we teach you to trust your process and results will follow.
We do not shy away from hard work. You must Grind and do so Daily!
We look forward to getting to work with you and help you or your athlete achieve their dreams and goals. Please reach out to Justin to schedule an evaluation or with any questions.

Chief Trainer: Justin Cox

He has coached and taught individual/team baseball lessons for 20+ years at the youth, high school, and college levels. He has been around the game his entire life. Justin has trained athletes from 6 to 22 years old and is comfortable with the newest of baseball players to the most advanced.
Justin has coached travel baseball in Illinois since 2006. His teams have been ranked in the top ten in Illinois, and top 20 in Midwest the previous four seasons at the 9-12u levels. Justin teaches all aspects of the game but specializes in middle infield/corner infield and hitting. Justin teaches the mental approach to the game as well as the physical fundamentals because baseball is a game of failure, so our youth needs to learn to fail forward while having fun.
Justin Cox played D1 baseball at Troy University in Alabama. He was a middle infielder who had to adapt and play the outfield as well. Justin was a High School All-State Shortstop/Second baseman in NC. He played two summers in the NECBL (Northeast Collegiate Baseball League) wood bat league and was a two-time league all-star.
